HOW DO I USE UNPACK?

1. Create a size profile. This is how we make sure your clothes fit.

2. Tell us about your trip. A personal travel stylist hand-selects apparel to match your plans. Add basics and gear to lighten your bag and elevate your trip.

3. Preview your box. Open your unPack Rundown email before you go to see every item waiting at your destination. 

4. Travel effortlessly. Your box is waiting when you get there. unPack apparel and gear that are intelligent for your trip. Leave everything behind when you head home. 

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I RESERVE MY UNPACK?

Orders can be placed up to 5 days before check-in. 

DELIVERY

Your unPack arrives at your hotel by 5 pm on your requested check-in date.

HOW LONG CAN I RENT MY UNPACK?

unPack starts at $12/day. You must return all items in your unPack (except any marked Yours to Keep) by 12 pm on your check-out date. 

HOW DO I RETURN UNPACK?

A prepaid return shipping label is included with every order. To return your rental order, put all items (minus toiletries) in the box your order came in. Place the return shipping label over the old shipping label and drop off the box at the hotel front desk.

If you have misplaced your prepaid return label please contact support@theunpack.com for a new label to be sent via email.

Our rental policy requires that you return your unPack on your check out date. Otherwise, late fees may apply. If for some reason you cannot return your item at check out, contact support@theunpack.com and we will be happy to work with you.

LATE RETURNS

Your box must be ready for pickup by 12pm on your checkout date. Late returns will be charged $25 for each day late. If for some reason you cannot return your items on your check-out date, please contact support@theunpack.com and we will be happy to work with you.

CAN I KEEP MY ITEMS?

Not at this time. We are currently only renting our garments and accessories.

SIZING

HOW DO I KNOW THE CLOTHES WILL FIT?

unPack rents clothes that are easy and straightforward to fit. We do not send tailored formal wear. To assure a great fit for every traveler, our apparel runs xs-xxl (slim & standard fits on dress shirts) and features cuts and fabrics with latitude for different body types. 

HOW DOES THE TRAVEL PROFILE HELP WITH SIZING?

Fill out a Travel Profile when you create your account to provide more specific information about your size and fit preferences. If you have created a profile, unPack will check with specialized guidelines from our brand partners to ensure you have selected the best size. If an alternate size is warranted, we will include it in your unPack.

WHAT ADDRESS SHOULD I SHIP MY UNPACK TO?

Ship your unPack to your hotel or airbnb address.

HOW DOES MY UNPACK GET TO MY HOTEL?

We ship your unPack with national and local couriers to arrive on or before your check-in date. 

HOW MUCH DOES SHIPPING COST?

Shipping is included in the base price of unPack.

 

WHEN WILL MY RENTAL ARRIVE?

Your order will arrive on or before your requested check-in date. 

IN WHAT TYPE OF BOX IS MY UNPACK SHIPPED?

We ship unPack in no-brainer resealable mailers. All items are professionally packed so that they open in the best condition.

DO YOU DELIVER OUTSIDE OF THE CONTIGUOUS U.S.?

Not at this time. Orders must also be returned from the contiguous U.S.

 

GARMENT CARE

WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CLEANING?

unPack takes care of all the cleaning.

WHAT IF I DAMAGE SOMETHING IN THE UNPACK?

unPack clothing is not fast fashion, and we’re proud that our clothing partners stand behind the quality of everything they make. While our laundering and cleaning partners can manage everyday wear and tear, travelers are responsible for theft and significant damage to any item beyond repair.

WHAT CONDITION ARE THE CLOTHES IN?

unPack clothes arrive in new or in like-new showroom condition. Many shirts in our catalog feature anti-wrinkle properties so they are ready to wear as soon as you arrive. All apparel is professionally cleaned, folded, pressed (as appropriate) and inspected before every trip.

 

PAYMENT

WHEN WILL MY CARD BE CHARGED?

After you check out on our site, you will receive an email confirming your reservation. unPack confirm that staff and inventory are available to accommodate your travel needs before charging your card.
